Spring is slowly arriving, and I'm very excited for sun and saturated colours. I'm excited to go to the beach to hunt for fossils and visit the sakura festival in the gardens (if the cherry blossom ever blooms!). I'm excited to eat outdoors on the grass and wear pretty skirts. I'm excited to explore places nearby that we've never visited (though less excited about spiralling petrol costs limiting how far we can go).

I'm also really very excited for Theo to start preschool in a month! He will only attend for 15 hours a week, but that gives me a whole 15 hours a week to do anything I want by myself - write, take photos, exercise, sit silently. I love spending time with Theo, but we have quite different personalities and where he has a complete inability to not talk or sit still, I need quiet, reflective time in order to feel balanced. Fifteen hours will seem like such a luxury; I can't wait, and neither can Theo. I think he could even be more excited to start school than I am!

Beautiful photos! I hope spring brings you two great things. It's a long way off for us in Wisconsin, but we'll get there eventually.
You'll have to let me know how Theo likes preschool. Aidan and Alan both start in September, but that's just 6 hours per week.
